Account - An Account on SMHelper is a user of the system.  Everyone that intends to use the system has an account, and it is tied to a unique email address and password. A subscription (see below) is the payment for use and can include one or more accounts.

 

Alerts -  Alerts are the notifications that a user gets when he/she is following an organization, company, or individual.  Alerts can come as email alerts and/or they can be sent as tasks in salesforce.com.

 

API - is an acronym for Application Programming Interface of routines, objects, protocols, etc., provided by libraries or operating system services in order to support the building of applications. SMHelper is an API package that is integrated with saleforce.com

Blogs - A blog (a contraction of the term "Web log") is a Web site, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other materials such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" also can be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.  SMHelper allows users to track their contacts and targets and how they are mentioned in blogs.

 

Billing - Billing comes from the word "bill". A bill is a document requesting payment for goods or services offered. Therefore, billing is the process of producing bills in a given period of time or after a transaction has occured. You get billed for using SMHelper services on a monthly basis.

Cookies - Cookies are parcels of text sent by a server to a browser and then sent back unchanged by the client each time it accesses that server. They are used for authentication, session tracking and maintaining specific information about users. Cookies, when disabled or set to high level, will not allow you to login to SMHelper successfully. Cache - A cache is a block of memory for temporary storage of data likely to be used again. Web browsers and servers frequently use a cache. If you still cannot login in after enabling your cookies, it would be advisable to clear your web browser's cache, then re-open it again to refresh the instance of the login page.

Demo video - Demo usually is distinguished from the full application/software not by being unfinished or untested, but by deliberately including only a portion of the full application/software content. The SMHelper Demo video is video with just a portion of the full software.

Homepage - This is the front page or start page of a website. The homepage of SMHelper software is http://www.smhelper.com.

Subscription - This is the license that you get to utilize SMHelper.  A subscription is based on the number of accounts/users.  You can get a subscrition for just yourself or for multiple people in your organization. 

 

SMHelper - SMHelper is the Web's social media tracking service, which lets you track and follow social media references made about clients, prospects, and people of interest.

Twitter - Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other user's updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.

 

Track - Track means to observe a person or an object and supply a time-ordered sequence of respective location data or to monitor a subject in whom you are interested in getting information. With SMHelper, you can track and and follow social media references made about clients, prospects, and people of interest.
